Finally the work on the deck has begun!

So happy that we finally are having the deck worked on! It is going to look amazing. We are having a fresh coat of paint added to brighten it up for Spring get togethers- BBQ's and wine/dinner parties are on their way! Equally happy someone else is painting all those spindles. (-;

Oh Facebook.....

Let me start by saying that Facebook isn't what it used to be. It used to be a website for college kids to stalk one another on. At least thats what most of my friends used it for. It was a social utility where you could post pictures of friends, let people know what was on your mind, vent, blab, check in, whatever. The point is... until recently Facebook was not a website where you had to worry about your Grandmother, business partner, client, neighbor, or student checkin' out your drunken photo's from that bachelorette party that happened 4 years ago...

Which brings those of us in the FB world with an account that has existed for more then 3 years to a crossroads. Do you block everyone who isn't your "real" friend from seeing your page, posts, and pictures? Or say screw it, throw caution to the wind and let it ride?

I haven't decided yet.

I do know this much. There are certain things that I just want to share with my "friends"- They are thoughts, feelings, aggravations, moods and "what not" that sometimes I just want to post as my FB status. It is my personal page, and my way of expressing myself with friends who I might not have the opportunity to interact with everyday. And I am going to reserve the right to keep that private. So please don't be offended if you suddenly find yourself blocked from seeing photos or wall posts. It isn't because I don't like you- It's because they are private.

As a soon to be business owner FB has taken on new meaning for me. It has become an advertising tool, and it is no longer just my personal domain to share through. Bummer. Guess this means I will be spending lots of time on the privacy page these days.

Watoto pediatrics a hit!

My peanut had her 18 month check up today! We tried a new dr in the Gainesville area, Watoto Pediatrics. We saw Dr. Williams, formerly with Capital Area Pediatrics (our old dr toooo). Great experience; although the office staff could use some work... But nothing too alarming.

Peanut measured in at 32 inches tall, which is roughly taller then 30% of her peers. And 50% for weight, 24 lbs. All healthy and growing like a weed!

"just between friends" consignment sale

Finally had the oppertunity to get to the "just between friends" consignment sale this past weekend. I picked up about 8 outfits most had never been worn and still had tags! Great brands & lots of selection! I would recommend going early- I didn't get there untill 2 on saturday and it seemed lots of the 2t stuff had been picked through.

Ditch Witch giving me an Itch....

I have a ditch witch in my yard as we speak... with frantic men running around it because they can't get it to stop... Wish wish I had my camera.

We are getting the puppy Georgia in two weeks. So I'm frantically trying to get my house prepared for the new little addition. It is like nesting when you are pregnant but you don't have all the hormones to help you get through it- or giving you motivation! Anyways that's why there is a ditch witch in my yard... DogWatch Fence systems is putting in an invisible fence for the pooch! Great investment for you pup, and the guys are really nice... if they can stop their machinery.

Oh did I mention that my HOA wants me to put in an application for an invisible fence? That's right they want me to put in an application for improvements that they wouldn't even knew existed if I didn't tell them I was doing it. It is an INVISIBLE FENCE which means you won't be able to see the damn thing... ugh~ I hate HOA's....

What a day....

Baby was in bed with me at 3AM which translates into no sleep for Mommy. She is so wiggly some nights in her sleep. And I know she wakes up lonely, scared or a combination of the two- So I can't just leave her in her crib fussing. It just isn't in me. However Wiggles is going to have to find a solution to her midnight wake ups because the hubby and I are going to loose our minds.

Other then that I have been super productive today! The mom version of "GTL" which stands for Grocery, Toddler maintenance, and Laundry has been accomplished. Thank you Jersey Shore for giving me the Anagram.

Ps. My list of things to get done for the home business isn't getting accomplished... I blame it on the amount of laundry I have to accomplish. Juice just hit the ground, gotta role...

Trying this once again...

I started a blog once upon a time ago.... didn't update it, which as it turns out is the point of having a blog. To update it... big fat fail.

I just want to share what I am going through right now on a daily basis. You see in the past 3 years my husband and I have... made all the mind blowing life altering make you need therapy decisions you are forced to make in a life time in well... 3 years. We met at work, started dating, got engaged, pregnant, married, and sold and bought 2 homes. Then I left my job to give this whole SAHM thing a shot... turns out its pretty cool. But it has been a chaos filled couple years! Just reading this paragraph makes breath hard...

And just when you think I would say "hey, I've had enough maybe we should cool it with the changes for a while.." Do I actually do that? Nope the punches keep on rollin! Now I am starting my own business, well two of them at the same time, getting a Labrador Retriever (think Marley and Me and you will know why I have lost my cotton pickin mind) and we are thinking of trying to have another baby in the summer (Baby Watch 2011- more on that later)....

Yep, certifiably crazy right here, comin at cha, circa 2011.

Watch out. I might start to update this thing on a regular basis!
